The purpose of this workshop is to enlarge the academic networks among Kobe University and universities in Europe. Particle Physics Group at Kobe University (KobePP) has been working on the experimental dark matter searches by using LHC/ATLAS, XMASS, NEWAGE, and Super-Kamiokande detectors. This wide variety of dark matter searches in a group at a university is a special feature of KobePP. Therefore, we are arranging this workshop to exchange the information on dark matter searches with researchers in Europe. We hope this workshop becomes an opportunity to foster future possible collaborative researches between Kobe University and European universities.
The workshop will be held at Kobe University Brussels European Centre (KUBEC) from August 27 to 29, 2014. The venue of the workshop is the following.
